Über 500 italienische Western wurden in der Zeit von 1960 bis 1975 gedreht, meist in Südspanien und in der Nähe von Rom...
Die italienischen Helden waren brutaler und zynischer als alle anderen Filmhelden zuvor. Sie kannten kein Mitleid, außer es war zu ihrem finanziellen Vorteil.
